We are thrilled and proud that the much loved actor and Wilmslow resident, Sue Johnston, has agreed to become the Green Room Theatre Wilmslow’s very first Patron. Sue has played many roles in her career, as well as undertaking a range of theatre work. She was awarded the OBE in 2009 for her services to drama and charity. The range of characters Sue has played over the years has been challenging, thought-provoking, traditional, modern, funny and heartrending, and always extremely entertaining. Since, in our much smaller way, that is what we aim to offer our audience at the Green Room, we feel Sue will be a terrific Patron. I know that she wishes to help us in whatever ways she can. Sue recently came along for a quick photo shoot outside the theatre.
We welcome Sue with open arms and look forward to working with her over the coming years.
