The cast of our forthcoming production of Amanda Whittington’s play assembled recently for a photoshoot ahead of a rehearsal, to provide a picture to use for press releases and promotional purposes. In the play, the four characters gather on Lindisfarne for their planned reunion – a get-together that is not without hiccups and unexpected occurrences.
It won’t surprise you to learn that the Publicity budget at the Green Room is somewhat modest – so the four actors gathered, not on the shores of Northumberland’s Holy Island, but in the theatre one Sunday afternoon for rehearsals and the taking of the picture. The photographer then set to work to add in an illustration of the castle and a suitable sea wall on which the ladies might pose. And very convincing it is too.
