Thanks to those who have been working along Chapel Lane – on fitting new water stop-taps – for the very useful sign board they put up a day or two ago, which must surely have helped with diverting people into the Theatre.
Seriously it is great to report remarkably high audience members for our run of The Two Gentlemen of Verona. A slowish start has given way to this being the hottest ticket in town, approaching 95% ticket sales by the end of the run.
It has been really interesting to chat to a couple of parties and people attending, to learn that their aim is to see all of Shakespeare’s plays – and, with Two Gentlemen being one that is rarely produced, they have travelled from afar (Horsham in one instance) to come along.
Well done to everyone who has come along to support us, and well done too to the directors, cast and crew for producing a very successful show.
