A vivid portrayal of life in the fictional Welsh coastal village of Llareggub spanning a day in the life of its residents. Through Thomas’ beautiful poetic language and imagery, each diverse character’s voice comes to life and reveals the essence of the village, celebrating both the mundane and the extraordinary. An amusing and poignant observation of love, beauty, jealousy and human folly.
