We do hope none of you missed out coming to see our recent production of Hindle Wakes, which for some performances was sold out. How good it was to have the auditorium full.
And how good it was to hear complimentary remarks from members of the audience, as they left the theatre or have told us since. One person emailed to say he and his wife felt ‘The actors and their costumes were a credit to your theatre, superb. [And] the set was a marvellous piece of ingenuity’. Another got in touch to tell us ‘what a great little theatre’ we have, with ‘a great atmosphere about it’. It is always good to receive feedback, both positive and critical, and important to hear what your responses and thoughts are.
Just in case you are not aware, the run of our plays for this season is from Monday to Saturday – which slightly reduces the total number of seats available to sell – but it is worth pointing out that we do now have a matinee performance on the Saturday afternoon, which is proving popular with those who are less inclined to venture out of an evening.
