Dick Barton Special Agent by Phil Willmott
1 to 6 December 2025
Evenings at 7:45pm.
2:30pm matinee on Saturday 6 December.
An hilarious send up of the classic 1940s BBC radio serial, where intrepid sleuth Dick Barton faces his arch-enemies Baron Scarheart and Marta Heartburn in a fiendish plot to disrupt the tea supply to Britain, and again aims to rid the world of evil in the name of decency and patriotism. Can Barton save the day? A complete antidote to pantomime.
Dick Barton: Special Agent was a radio thriller serial that was broadcast by the BBC between 7 October 1946 and 30 March 1951.
